Can't change ShowLogo setting

In FS2002 Tips it says change "ShowLogo=1" to "ShowLogo=0" in FS2002.cfg but it is already on "0".

I thought the opposite might work but when I change it to "1" it changes back to "0" as soon as I run the game and the logo is still there.

Anybody know how to do this?

Depends which "logo" you're talking about.

If you want to remove the opening picture of the aircraft, I don't believe there's a tip in the library to do it yet (can't be sure - there's an awful lot in there these days). The closest to that is a tip on how to change the picture which you can find in the simulator section.

Yeah, it's the opening picture of the aircraft I'm talking about. I thought that was what the ShowLogo related to. I saw the tip about changing the picture.

dunno if it works and might make an error but what about deleting the picture but make sure you make a backup

FS needs the time during which it is displaying that picture for initialization. You could substitute a blank picture, but it seems pointless to me, since FS would still be sitting there doing its initialization.
