intersection definitions

Hello all,

I've been filing IFR flight plans using the flight planner and then printing the nav log. However, I can't figure out where the intersections are, unless I have a sectional chart. When I click on the intersection in map view, it just gives me lat-long coordinates. I know I can go to airnav.com for the intersection definition (VOR,radial), but is the VOR and radial data for intersections given anywhere in fs2k2, and how do I find it? Thanks for the help!

Shouldnt atc give you the vectors? I never tryed that before.

You have a couple of possible solutions.

1. Do you use the FS2K2 Flight planner? If so, when you load a f/p, the route is shown on the GPS which has a menu item to show intersections.

2. Do you have FSNav. If not, download it, try it and then pay for it. It's terrific. Again, it shows all VOR's, NDB's and intersections. With FSNav, if you are simple looking for an intersection, type in the name, add the the f/p and then center the map on it. Works every time.

Try getting hold of some out of date Low Altitude Enroute Charts. They are set up better than a sectional, they also cover a wider area.
