Another Florida storm..real time, real weather...interesting.....

This is really something, I can only get these anvil head thunderstorms when I download real weather in the sim.
We are having another storm, so I flew out of Daytona Beach with real-time weather.
No matter how much I tweak the manual weather settings, I could never replicate the 'thunder heads' we get in real life.....unless I use the real weather. Wow.

Think I'll experiment on the weather end of thing with this sim...seems to be some further potential here.
I'll keep you posted. Oh, I added contrast to the clouds to help define them.

One day I'll get a real photo program so the sharpness doesn't contort things so much. I never used to fool with real weather much, but it is really interesting.

WOW. Nice pictures:)

Yesterday we had hail the size of peas :-eek
AND last night I had a dream w had a tornado too :-eek
It formed so fast :-eek
We had 2 tornadoes that I remember :D

Lucily, no one was injured or dead. One of my best friends was a mile away from the tornado :-eek
But he was okay :)

We get a lot of Tornado activity just east of where I live, just around DIA. At night, when the lightning flashes you can count the funnel clouds! I have seen 12-15 at a time. Kinda spooky...they usually (lucky for us..) don't form until they get out into the plains.

Nice shots, real weather is kinda neat, got a real hazy sky (like some kind of inversion) over Utah this morning using real weather, have not seen that before either but I did not have FSscreen running.
