Even if you get a usb joystick, I'd still go with the soundcard as suggested by others. In my experience onboard sound and vid cards are not very good.

Iīve borrowed a Sound Blaster 4.1 Digital. Now the joystick works fine and I have EAX support and the possibility to connect 4 speakers. Itīs not a bad solution and itīs cheaper than a new force feedback joystick. Still, Iīm not sure what my final decision will be. Iīve heard really good things about USB joysticks so Iīll think about it for a little while and then Iīll see. Thanks for all your suggestions. If anybody else is in the same situation, Iīd try both things. (Nowadays most places let you return hardware and get your money back). And after that Iīd choose whatīs best for yourself.
