hmmm MiG-21 at Luke AFB, man you must be Insane, even if that MiG tried to reach Alaska via the Beringer Street, a Sentry would've seen it, and it would've gotten intercepted & escorted the moment it reached US airspace... so probably there would 've been two 60's-80's era tri-service interceptor/fighter in close proximity, especially near USAF bases...

complicated huh, trying to take as-real-as-it-gets screenshot...

no no, nice work there Polle

They were testing this Mig 21. They've just got it from a deserting Soviet pilot. Now the USAF wants to know how it flies and what it can do so they test it in Luke AFB (normally this would have been done in Edwards AFB, wich wasn't named Edwards at the time, but that was temporarely closed down due to lack of fuel :-)

nope this would've been done at Nellis AFB, because they had a 'Agressor' squadron, the '64th' which flew Russian jets, they got from bying from third countries, or from deserting pilots...
they were used to train USAF pilots in combat training...
the Pilots of th russian jets lived like rusky's too... Sovjet flags, pictures of sovjet leaders, statues of Lenin and others, and even used Russian as a greeting language...
