Yeah i also think they are cute.
Its going well for Airbus with the A318 and A380, but what are Boeing doing, a stretch of the Boeing 747-400 which will be Boeing 747X. I think thats not good enough for competing with the Airbus A380.

I think its a sensor to indacate the airflow coming off the rudder but I'm not positive
Looks like God is taking his "pet" plane for a walk :-lol ! Seriously now, I think Josh is right, It does look like a sensor for the airflow off the rudder, or maybe it senses airspeed. I dunno either, but It looks like a sensor for something involving airspeed.
