Default Did the programmers go too far?

I was folloeing this AI 777 and it was flying in a straight line. Then it did something very strange. It nose dived into the water, not far from New York City. Now I have heard of UFOs and stuff in fs2002, but did the programmers make it so real as to depict terrorism. I mean it just nose dived and hit the water. Wierd.

Its possible that they made failures effective to AI... or its screwed up and its trying to land at a non-existant airport.. or it missed the airport.... Ive got a Q though.. what happened when and after it hit?

It just dissappeared. I flew past it as it hit, and when I looked back it was gone.

Hmm.. the dissapearing AI thing strikes again... usually happens if theres no parking for the plane.... its a good possibility that it was trying to land at an airport.. and that airport is non-existant... I could be able to clear things up if you tell me where he took off.. then I could check my AI tools to see where he is meant to go...

Well... I don't really know where he took off from. I was buzzing the city and saw him out of the corner of my eye. So I followed him. We flew almost directly over an airport, but when he made his descent after we had passed the airport, he didn't pull up like a normal landing. He just smacked into the ground fast and at the angle in the shots.

Ok.. its a good possibility it probably missed the airport... probably thought it was somewhere else... anyway.. what was the airport you passed then?

Well.. the only airport in that area large enough to have 777s is probably La Guardia.. lemme check.. Ill see if I can find the flight
