Hey Folks,
Here is some pictures of the Husky Ski Plane by Steven Grant and Me doing some ice flying near Dawson, BC. If you want to use this as a plane you can land on frozen lakes, then download the original ski plane and the fix, as well as the ice textures that I did (available here at Flightsim.com...just do a search for my name, or for "ice"), and then paste the contact points listed below into the aircraft.cfg file. That will allow the plane to land on the ice and on ground. Using the ice, you will still get a few effects from the water, so turn off all your water effects.

Landing on a snow covered frozen river.....the default effects appear as if you are leaving snow tracks behind, as well as kicking up fresh powder:
