Do you have any clue as to what plane this is? I took the pic this morning.

KCGX For Life!
looks like a cessna,im not sure which type
No, I don't think Cessna's make a LOUD, LOUD, VERY LOUD low pitch BRMMMMMRRRMMMMRRMMMMM noise. That's the sound it made. I think it's a DC-10 but I could be wrong. Either it's taking off from Jefferson CO (just 20 min from my house) and if it is, then It HAS to be a Cessna. But if it's taking off from Pitttsburgh Intl. (45 min from my house) THEN it could be a DC-10.

LAST EDITED ON Jan-05-02 AT 12:00PM (EDT)[p]The shot is very small, but it looks like a C-130. Straight wing and tail give it away. If it had a low rumbling turboprop sound, it was likely a Herk.
Dave
PS; Not a DC-10 at all.
yes a c130 I think!? Never a DC10 or Cessna

where'd u get dc-10 from? the staight wings so can tell it's not a jet, yeah, i think i agree with the hurk, c-130
I'd say, 9 out of 10 it's our old N' faithful 'Herky Bird'... If you say a DC-10 is giving a rumbling sound, then it has to be going down with a bang...Nah, it's a Hercules for sure...

definitly a C-130, especially if it made a loud rumbling noise, like most big props do...
