The Congo? Are'nt there alot of unpleasant things there such as big snakes, spiders, bugs...and, did I say spiders?

Loaded up, we taxi out to the hardtop to see if this thing will get off the ground.

This thing is loud, and smells of oil..mmmm, what's with this mist?

Crossing the river that divides the Congo (DRC) and Rwanda, things start to look....different.

Looks like the Land of the Lost, I wonder if the elevation here being at almost 6000 feet, has anything to do with this mist?

At last! The Congo River! oooooo...aaaaaaa!

Got to find our spot...looks pretty bumpy!
    http://www.flightsim.com/dcforum/Use...6454039613.jpg

Go for it..drop the gear and pick a spot, we're wasting time...

Oooh, ouch, eeek, oooch, jiggle, shake, bump, rattle, OUCH.

Okay, bail out and unload, we've got to find our bush pilot around here!

After a short hike, and alot of bug bites, we find 'Merlin'. Is it getting darker?

A quick brief, and loading the film, Merlin fires it up and screams down the shoreline,...great...it's raining!

    Great work Bob!

Just love the low flying over the river stuff. This type of screen shot story I reckon is superb, and added with a touch of story telling, makes the images enjoyable to view!

Awsome shots! I love the 6th and 7th pics, they look real. Is that real nice DC-3 with the huge panel and has two 20mb zip files? That is one of the finest aircraft I have.

    Wow Bob.... Way to go!

    Beau-ti-ful!!!
As I looked at them I could feel the african heat and hear the beautiful sound of those 2 radial P&W engines!

Each and every shot is a masterpiece... I looked at them again and again and...

    Truly, very nice work!

Love to see more of it :-jumpy

    Cheers mate!

    Wooooohooooo!

    Bravo Bob! :-)
    Too cool!
This is great… I love these adventures! :-)

    * sits on the edge of her seat waiting for the next installment *

    :-)

    Great shots!
I still really love that DETA (and I don’t even know what that is!).

    I should find myself a nice DC-3, too probably…
That is such a cool looking plane…
That one looks nicely textured, too…

    What is “DETA?” ..please? :-)

( Can’t wait for the next part!)

Best to you as always, Bob …

wow, hey thanks gang for the compliments..
Warbird, yep, that's the one, the freighter here was redone by the RD4 team (Fred Choat) based on Jan Visser's original.

Thanks Cozzy, and yes, this comes with an awesome sound package that causes my subwoofer to rattle the pictures on my wall sideways!

    Tia,
would you believe I could'nt find anything within the zips of these files to explain the DETA. I assume it was created by the TAF (Tongass Air Freight - a virtual air line of Montana Air), as the airline for this model. :-hmmm
Either way, thanks so much for the compliments, means alot coming from a pro like you. I'll be sending up the next episode here shortly. Have fun, see you in a bit!

    Sincerely,
