Great shots, I always see Virgin Atlantic flying into Orlando. I have no clue why FS02 makes everyone land at 36L. I always see them approach from the other runways 18R and so on.

I have a question for you. Do you stay on your computer during all the flight ? and Do you use 4x Speed ?
And if you are not using 4x Speed but you stay at your computer, What are you doing ??? Me I never been able to stay at my computer during a flight that exceed 2hour (in cruise, not counting the departure and the arrival). I just want to know what you are doing during all this long flight.

Goodbye

Well If you flying With IFR 4X speed is about the fastest you can go. (still hard though if theirs alot of ATC Heading Corrections). If you dont respond in time for IFR ATC Heading, Or Handoff it will cancel itself. And now you will have to intercept the ILS on your own. (DOH)

LAST EDITED ON Jan-04-02 AT 01:44AM (EDT)[p]Martin,
all of these shots are terrific! There is an add on for Orlando International for fs2000 that seems to work ok in fs2002, the only problem is the taxiways are shown properly, but you kick up dust and hit bumps like you're on the dirt.

Unfortunately, tomorrow here in Orlando, will only get up to like 35 degrees. Last week 75 and 80, this week 35, go figure!
Cheers!

The trick I use on long haul on an IFR flight plan; 1st I file a Direct GPS plan, not high altitude airways. When at cruise alt' I engage the NAV hold for GPS. Regarding keeping up with the messages from ATC when speeding up the sim, when they hand you over to another centre, aknowledge the hand over, but don't contact the next station until you are around 150 miles away from your arrival depending on your altitude. When you finally want to tune ATC again, the radio will auto tune to the correct station you need. Then they dont cancel your flight plan. Hope this is of some use.

Best thing to do is to use FSNavigator 4.5. You make up your flight plan generate the plan and then load it. Take off and and tell FSNavigator to fly the flight plan, put the aircraft on auto pilot and go play golf or whatever. Great program.
