I am getting a little tired of getting kicked back to the desktop, and my pc rebooting.
You would think a dual p3 1 ghz with 1.5 gig of ram and a mediocre 64mb gf4 mx 440 would at least play the game ok? My performance is ok. It just intermittanly crashes every 10 minutes or so. What is the eta on this? February? That is too long. This is driving me nuts!
What if office xp crashed every 10 minutes or rebooted your pc? There would be thousands of hours of productivity loss in the US alone. Didn't Microsoft by a few dozen different pc's and test the game on it before sending it out? Whatever happened to beta testing? Did they not send this out to a few hundred people to test out at home?

MS rushed the product to stores because people where whining for it and MS felt pressured to give it to them, bugs or no. So they did and now they are suffering the consequences - complaints, bugs, instability issues, gigabytes of email messages from angry gamers, etc. It happens. All companies have at least one product that is a total bomb in their lifetimes. MS has had more than a few. Look at FS2000 and FS95!

Think you've got computer problems? You haven't until you've installed the latest version of FS!

Actually I have no complains about flying the CFS3. It is the cockpit design of the planes in the program that is horrible. If you adjust the seat high enough to see where the bullets go , the instruiments disappear. If you want to see the gages, you dont see where the buillets go. It is not realistic. I can`t imagine the fighter pilots in real planes flying with those round circles that serve as the instrument gages of the various planes. Why cant we have the same style of aircraft instrument panels of Combat Flight Simulator 2 or even the Falcon4? And I dont like removing the cocpit entirely either. It is so unrealistic I`m just hoping the coming patch will do something about these problem.it. Otherwise I will go back to my Combat Flight Simulator 2 or the Falcon4.

You can adjust the seats? I know I can move the view back by pressing [ or ]. But can I move the seat up a little?

If you look into my "wideview" message you will probably find that someone else (not me) has cured this problem for all of us.

Basically the wideview patch is 35 brand new panel configuration files, one for every variation of every single stock plane in CFS3, including all the bombers. The guy who did these, slowly hand tweaked all the configurations so that the new CFS3_3D cockpits now are seen from the same aspect as they were in CFS2.

I'm just sorry I took the time to back up the MS versions first, Actually, I won't be needing those any longer }>
