I am running CFS3 on a Amd 2100, with a gf4 4400. I have maxed the graphics and am running at 1024 X 768 X 16 and framerates are in the 20 - 30+ range, smooth and very nice looking. I do however turn off as much as poss. in the background, the first night i had probs at this detail lvl and went down to 2 overall and 16 bit, but musta had something runnin in b/g. Now fine, couldn't be happier with the game. Oh yeah, dx 8.1b, and from what i read on here won't be loading 9, and runnin Win Me as i think XP sucks big time for games.

WinME sucks for just about everything.

In fact, it is so bad that Microsoft actually stopped shipping it to retail stores for a while.

LAST EDITED ON Dec-11-02 AT 07:03AM (EST)[p]I just switched from ME to XP Pro and I'm way better off for it. I was actually surprised to see ME on the shelf at Office Depot. I figured MS would've stopped making it a long time ago...
Havent tried CFS3 yet since I got XP. Installing it is next on my list. FS2002 looks and performs better on my system now than ever though.
Just my opinion...
