Terrain texture

Hi guys,

Does anyone else have an issue with the terrain textures being shockingly bad unless the game is run in 800x600 mode?

In any other resolution, the textures is simply 500x500 meter squares (not the fields and hedges you're supposed to get).

It also happens if I adjust any of the graphics sliders.

So far, I must say I wish I'd saved my 30-odd quid and bought something else, because it's absolute rubbish. I have more fun running fs2002 and shouting "dagger-dagger-dagger" as I dive towards the control tower.

Anyway, My specs are Abit BD7-II, P4 2.0Ghz, Geforce 2 DDR, 512 Mb, Sidewinder FF2 and I'm running the 40.72 NVidia drivers. Oh, and XP Home.

I'm running in 1024x768x32

my specs are: WinME, P4 2.0GHz, 256RDRAM, GeForce 2 MX400 64mb (40.72 driver) and am having a ball with CFS3.

Yeah. I have an issue with the terrain textures. They suck.

How stupid of me.

I should have been using 30.82 drivers.

Now the texture is okay, but Christ the frame rates are awful.

That a stupid textures getting out of alignment.

Flying yesterday, it was like someone got the terrain and put into one of those tile puzzles. Bit's of airfield, town and country all jumbled up. And planes with all the textures on the wrong place like RAF tail markings on the wheels and God knows what else.

I can't reconcile the reviews I read about this game. They are not describing the utter pants I paid for.

I'm having same problem with texture esp. with 3D glasses! Any solutions?
