    Only if the aircraft has been put through the Gmax treatment and CFS3 exporter. :-)

    I Think Hakan meant the default CFS3 aircraft. The answer would be NO. The CFS3 default birds have a lot of goodies that FS2002 doens't like. In short, they will probably crash FS2002.

    Greetings,

    The aircraft sounds from CFS3 can be used in FS2002
    with minor changes to the sound.cfg file...

    *****Changes to CFS3 sound.cfg files for use in FS2002*****************

    *********Note that "brackets" don't show up in the forum***************
    *********Where you see "parentheses" below, put in "brackets"**********

    Open CFS3 sound.cfg with Notepad:

    Delete this:

    (CFS3)
    product_code=CFS3

    Cut this from the bottom of the file, put at top:

    (FLTSIM)
    product_code=FSIM

    Delete:

    (BOMB_SOUND)
    filename=bomb

    (FLAPS_UP)
    filename=usflap
    initial_volume=9500

    (FLAPS_DOWN)
    filename=usflap
    initial_volume=9500

    Add:

    (Flaps)
    filename=usflap

    Delete:

    (GEAR_DOWN)
    filename=gear_us_engage,xgear_engage_bomber

    (gear_up)
    filename=gear_us_retract,xgear_retract_bomber

    (GEAR_DAMAGED)
    filename=gear_us_broken

    Add:

    (GEAR_DOWN)
    filename=usgear_e

    (gear_up)
    filename=usgear_r

    Delete:

    (LEFT_TOUCHDOWN)
    filename=chirp_bomber01, chirp_bomber02

    (RIGHT_TOUCHDOWN)
    filename=chirp_bomber03, chirp_bomber04

    (CENTER_TOUCHDOWN)
    filename=chirp_bomber05, chirp_bomber06

    Add:

    (LEFT_TOUCHDOWN)
    filename=cmtouch8, cmtouch5, cmtouch3
    minimum_volume=9000
    maximum_volume=10000

    (RIGHT_TOUCHDOWN)
    filename=cmtouch7, cmtouch4, cmtouch2
    minimum_volume=9000
    maximum_volume=10000

    (CENTER_TOUCHDOWN)
    filename=cmtouch6, cmtouch1
    minimum_volume=8000
    maximum_volume=9000

    ******************************************************
    The above changes will let the sounds be used in FS2002.

    Or you could just find/copy the sound files from CFS3 into FS2002 (regarding the broken gear) ;)

    Greetings,

    Yes, the "shared" sounds can be used by copying them over, but the "flaps" section still seems to need editing to work...

    The B-26 sounds from CFS3 work very well with the A-26 Invader
    freeware AC recently available for d/l....also with the DO-24K
    flying boat....CFS2 AI B-24 and B-25....B-17...B-29...:D
