Default Are there supposed to be CD's in the box?

I just purchased CFS3 from Best Buy, and when I opened it, there were no CD's in the cardboard CD case. Everything was intact, except the CD's. I guess I will have to bring it back tommorow! Boy, I am really ANGRY! AHH!!! :(

    Default Errrrrrrrr.................

Yeah, I'd say a return trip is in order. Geesh, that'd make me a little upset...can hardly blame BestBuy though; not like they pack the boxes ;-)

    Best Regards,

Well, I have a feeling that it was actually a return, and whoever returned it decided it would be best to keep the CD's. The sticky circle that keeps the top closed came off rather easily. :(

Hmmmm, that's a different story....You'd think they'd be a bit more diligent at checking the box to ensure there return product is actually in the box ! ( Or at least a blank CD in the sleeve where the original CDs should be...that I might understand how that could slip by someone ). Due to their negligence, you have to make a return trip. I'd never suggest you seek compensation for your time & inconvenience however :-roll

Yes, I do hope they give me something. I am certainly never going to shop at best buy again if they can't even check to see if the product is in the box being returned! They could at least weigh it to see if it weighed what the other boxes did, if they didn't want to open it. I am quite upset right now, and I still want to go back tonight, but, that doesn't seem like much of an option.

Well, I certainly understand your frustration, however if I may suggest; go back when you've calmed down a little....if you think you're too mad, then you are too mad. Even though it is their fault, chances are the person you'll be talking to will not be the person at fault. And no one likes to take heat from someone if they didn't do anything wrong. They are more likely to make it right if you remain calm ( nothing wrong with being upset, just don't go mad ) and settle the problem in a pleasant way. But remember, if you feel like they're giving you the shaft ( can I say that ? ), everyone has a boss. Climb the chain of command if you don't feel like your problem is being properly resolved.

I had that happen to me at Walmart with Nascar 2002. In my case the cd was replaced with a "Hits of the 70s" music CD. I had a real hassle returning it as they accused me of trying to steal a game by claiming it was missing. They ended up giving me another one but I never bought another PC game from them after that. I now check very carefully to see if the seals have been removed before I buy.

    CFS3 looks sweet!! :D

Just keep that receipt man!.. I don't know about others, but at the store I work at- you can do pretty much anything if you keep it. :-lol As for the store managers accusing innocent customers for possible scams, I see that all the time.. Sometimes it is just a caution they take, some managers are just better at keeping it more silent. I usually let them deal with that, and if the DM finds out, that's the mgrs fault. :P

It is a chain of command thing.. Customer says "But WHY??!?" Sometimes I really can't do anything- just work a POS (Point of Sale) machine.. *points to manager*

You've probably made the return by now, what the heck am I typing for?? :-roll

Lol, I have made the return. But, I am VERY disappointed with the game! I haven't been able to hit one plane down, and only 1 plane hit me down. I can never seem to find the action, and the controls are very hard to remember. I will have to tinker with it more. So far, it hasn't been fun at all :(
