How Lame Is The Microsoft FSX TV Advertisement

With all of the hard work that went into FSX I think MS's TV ad is cheesy - except for the Beaver at the end, It mostly looks like FS2002. Hard to tempt the public with this poor show - But hey, I'm no Bill Gates, maybe he has it all figured out? Mike }(

Like I sit around in FS with an Airline Captains hat and a mustache!!!

all about selling copies!! What do they cost M$,,, thirty five

Did you get a collectors edition metal box?? Did you get yours from
Mr Gates in person?? I wish I had have him sign the box for me!!

Several different models came with the very first editions, we
got the Wright Flier in both of ours, I have seen the DC-3 and
the Spirt of St. Louis!! They are die cast!!

I hope you mean just to print the boxes and press the DvD's, otherwise your an idiot.

As for the advertising, do you honestly think Bill had anything to do with this? Do you know how many people MS employ's? Gates doesn't have time to deal with the gaming department, he's too busy fighting off VMWare, Linux, and UNIX :P

The only figures I could find, are,

FS2000 in the first six months sold 2,000,000 copies!!

FS9 was on the top ten list for over two years!!

35 cents may be a bit low, 50 cents maybe??

I would say, that FSX paid for it self in the first 12
hours of sales!!

I did like the part where they said "If these feelings presist, please step back and snap out of it." The beaver landing look bad, if that was in real life, that bird would be gone.
