Default Can a real pilot tell me?

    Please EXPLAIN ME!!

I am just a flightsimmer! I am not a good pilot at all in fs, but finaly when i have a nice aproach i have to go around because one stupid airplane gets his premission for takeoff..

in real life (I am a spotter in summer times) an airfield use different runways for aircrafts aproaching and aircrafts departing.. atleast, when this airfield has 2 runways lining up eachother.

What to do when you have low fuel and the tower sais to you.. go around in fs. Just land on an other runway? Or crash with 200 people on board?
If i have enough fuel onboard i just go around and hope that i can land the next time... But sometimes i have to go around 6 times.. What should you do? Or what should I do?

    Please tell me

In real life if you called "bingo fuel" then they would make great efforts to get you down quickly. However, such is the limitation in flight sim. Most airports still use the same runway for landing and departing aircraft, and airports with parallel can theoretically handle twice the traffic. It's really neat to be lined up on final so close to another airplane. However, in FS if you are having trouble getting a slot on the runway, I would advise just landing on another runway... it's not nice to piss off your virtual passengers.

Well, officially you should not find yourself that low on fuel. Don't let you local aviation authorities find you that low. Here in the US, the FAA states you must have at least 30 min extra fuel during day VFR flights when arriving at your first destination. It's 45 minutes remaining fuel at night. Therefore, you should stop off at an intermediate airport and refuel before continuing. That, or just plop the bird down on an alternate runway as suggested. That's what I do as there aren't any FAA officials running around in my computer...I hope. ;-)

Even Teuge has an alternate (albeit a grass strip more frequently used for gliders) :)

ok,, thats thrue.. but if you are on a aproach and you can go around.. not once but 6 times.. (try it on schiphol or i think all the big airfields with lots of trafic.) That was my problem.. Gooing around for 6 times takes more then 30 min i believe... Its just stupid fs didn't use more runways.. 1 for aproaching and one for departing

Turn down your ATC slider. This is also a performance killer, so turning it down has a double benefit.

You are not required to land with 30 or 45 minutes of fuel in the tanks. This was hashed out in the courts years ago when pilots were busted by the FAA for doing such things.
The requirment is to begin the flight with at least that amount of fuel. In other words you have to plan your flight to have the legal amount of fuel, not execute it.
Now, if you ran into a problem and was getting low, you could advise ATC of your situation and you might get priority. You want to make sure you get into the airport right away you say the magic words " I am declaring an emergency". There is no option for this in the sim, so go ahead, mentally declare an emergency and land on any runway that is clear.

Plus if you find yourself low on fuel in FS due to the controllers constantly telling you to go around, just pause the game and open up the fuel dialog and give yourself some extra juice.

After all, it's as real as it gets isn't it? :)
