What graphics program are you using? Maybe I'm seeing things too simple, but most graphics programs have a "mirror" function. Select the area you want to mirror, copy/paste-selection, position over the area you want to cover and "mirror"

You can - but I don't have Photoshop so I can't tell you the specific menu choices -

you would use a lasso or point-to-point selection tool to outline the chosen area; then Edit->Copy; Edit->Paste as selection (or whatever it's called in PS7), and with the selection still active, choose Image->Mirror (or Transform->Mirror)...

Check your help files for the proper commands.

After panting one side of and aircraft I would do it like this if using a PSD or PSP file that is in layers.

If PhotoShop 7 is the same as PhotoShop 5LE how I did it, was go to the Layers Pallet activate the layer then Right click the active layer that you want to copy, a box pops up then chose Duplicate Layer then up at the top chose Image\Rotate Canvas\Flip Horizontal then move it to where you want it on the other side of the aircraft. (Provided its pointing in the opposite direction as the first painted side.)

It appears to be very similar with Paint Shop 7 go to the Layers Pallet activate the layer then Right click the active layer that you want to copy, a box pops up then chose Duplicate then up at the top chose Image\Mirror. (Provided its pointing in the opposite direction as the first painted side.)

I hope this understandable because I’m still somewhat new to painting myself.

ph1l1pmay's I don’t know exactly, which file your using but if it’s a blank kit that only has just one side of an aircraft fuselage showing or both sides showeing?

    Wrong spelling.
Painting and the last showing slipped by MS Word and me.
