Okay, this is what i found out what that bad boy can do... (after minor rewiring it for more power) *grunt grunt grunt*
St-7 Orion - Shuttle from 2001 A Space Odyssey
Max Ceiling: 52544 Feet (stability wise in flight)
Max Speed: Mach 3.0 - 3.88
Cruise Speed: Mach 1.06 - 1.10
Optimal Altitude for flight and Cruise:
18,000 feet @ mach 1.10
18,500 feet @ mach 1.08
19,000 feet @ mach 1.07
19,500 feet @ mach 1.06
18,500 feet @ mach 1.06
Anything lower the min alt, the less fuel efficient it is.
I found generally that is enough for getting over the rockies.
Range: 2,961 nm (working for 4K+)
Passenger: If we go here. AND According to the movie.
Upper Cabin: 144
Lower Cabin: 152
Approximate (still reseaching and watching 2001 movie to verify)
Total: 296 Approximately.
Thought everyone would be intererested. I am really putting her through the wringer. Although: Shigeru, you need to tweek the nose bounce a bit. Bounces a bit much in a turn. not even 5-10 degrees
I would not recommend it for unseasoned fs pilots ;) the range is also getting better as i tweak it...
Thanks for your attention.
