That would be a nice system, but an E6600 would be much better as it has double the internal L2 cache (4MB -vs- 2MB), and it's much faster. (2.4GHz -vs- 1.86GHz)

The 7900GT's are going for about $250 now and it is a good video board.

Totally agree. The 6600 would definitely be worth the extra cash and the 7900GT is a great video card for the price.

This is a good system and with the Gigabyte or Asus p5w-dh the e6600 can be overclocked to over 3.0GHZ without a problem.

So far so good with the GTO. For the price it's an excellent card. FSX makes it look it is not doing it's job, but there is not another program that comes close to bringing it down so far. Every other game/applications is run at full settings without stutter.
