Thread: FS Autostart

  1. Default FS Autostart

    Hi All

I have noticed that when I use Fs Autostart that my benchmark score rises about 800 but in flightsim my find my FPS drops which I find unusual.

When I do a fresh boot and just shut down my anti virus and run flightsim my FPS are much better, could it be that I am shutting down something in autostart that is slowing the performance down does anybody have any tips or anything that could help me eliminate this problem.

    Thanks in advance.

    Default RE: FS Autostart

    Hi Daz,
I use it on an older XP3000 machine and only shutdown the processes that Ken identifies on the right hand side as safe to shutdown, essentially leaving the vital Windows componants up. However, make sure you didn't change the priority - leave it at normal..I got screwy results bumping it up.
However, now you have me thinking about doing a test with and without FSA and noting any differences.

    Good luck,
