Birds over Beale

ThunderBIRDs that is, Today at Beale AFB in Central California was the annual Beale Airshow, including the amazing Thunderbirds and some special guests, such as the F/A-18 SUPER HORNET, the most technological non stealth fighter of today, despite the 90 degree weather it still was fun camping under a C-5 Galaxy in the shade and watching these AWSOME birds fly. I i've been to Blue Angel Airshows, but something about the Thunderbirds strikes somethng, they are more dedicated to the soldiers and all those who serve in the US forces, which i love, so here are the photos, enjoy!

Absolutely stunning photographs excellently edited to contain just the subject manner and so very well composed.

IF a digital camera what is the definition?

I have a fairly good 5MB but am let down because it was all I could afford and it only has a 3X optical zoom with 12X digital which I don't use unless forced to.

I am hoping to attend a couple of shows here in the UK so any tips would be welcome.

If you live in the Las Vegas Nevada area you are very luck when it comes to seeing the T-Birds. Every year in November they have Aviation Nation and not only does Nellis put on a fantasitc airshow but it is FREE. You just pay a token fee to ride the bus from the speedway to the airbase.

The weather in Vegas in November is nice too.
