temp.on nvidia card

Hi Noell,,or anybody else with 6200 nvidia card,,I have the BFG 6200 OC and at idle it runs at 33 or 34 and with it set at overclocking auto at factory settings 375//500 it runs at 39 to 40 I have extra fans and was wondering how your temps. run, it seems stable at that temp. just wondering,,thanks again regards Jerry

i have a 6600GT and on idle runs at 41C
After about 1 and a half hours on battlefield 2, the temp is at 73C then gradually goes right back down to 51C
It still works perfectly so i dont think you have anything to worry about!

My card is a 6800 Ultra OC. It idles at 50. With an aggressive OC I-ve seen it hit 75. A 6200 runs much, much cooler than a 6800 so comparing the two is irrelevant.

What you are seeing with your 6200 at idle and when OCing is quite normal. In an OC situation a 6200 could get to about 55 with no problem.
