Since you have 2 drives, the worry of data loss is low - this should be an easy project to tackle. Just be sure that when the time comes to partition and format , that the drive you are working on is the NEW drive and not the existing one with your files and data on it. Drive size differences and model designators should give you a good clue here. Here's a link from Microsoft that should get you started:

Enter 306559 in the search box - look for Q306559 knowledge base article "How To Create a Multiple-Boot System in Windows XP"

just copy the above line into your address bar, because the link will not work due to some of the charectors.

If your system is useing the NTFS you can't run ME and XP together.
You have to use the FAT32 file system to run both ME and XP, which would mean a reformat of your HD under the FAT32 file system.

If you install them on separate partitions or drives, you can use NTFS for XP and FAT32 for ME. ME won't be able to read the NTFS partition without a driver (I can't remember the company that provides one).

Have you tried setting the game's executable to run in compatibility mode before you go to the trouble of adding a second OS? Right Click the game executable, e.g., FS2002.exe, select properties, select compatibility tab, select the Windows version you want to use for compatibility, select Apply or OK. Try the game.

I had to do this with the Garmin480 Trainer. It will not run successfully in WinXP but will run forever in compatibility mode.
