    Default Airport diagrams

Does anyone know of a site that might publish airport layouts? I know with security the way it is now, this might be asking a lot. \

When creating a flight, it would be nice if I could find the right gate to place my plane. It seems strange to have a US Airways sitting next to a row of Delta or Southwest! Any help would be appreciated!

www.airnav.com has charts but the site is slow/down quite often.

http://www.myairplane.com/databases/approach/index.php is another site that offers just about the same thing and seems a bit more reliable.

All the US NACO charts (formerly NOS) are available for download from the AOPA web site, but you'll need to be an AOPA member to access them.

Airport diagrams and approach plates are available in .pdf format direct from the NACO/FAA site. Start by clicking the blue "digital - Terminal Procedures (0602)" toward the bottom of the page at this link. Do not bookmark subsequent pages as they will expire when the chart edition does.

If you are looking for gate layouts, try the web sites for airports you are interested in. Google them.

Unfortunately, these won't tell you where airline gates are. Sometimes there are local web sites with gate assignments, or you can also try looking at the airline web pages to get the gates, and the airport web sites to figure out where the gates physically are.
