    Default ATI control panel problem

    Hi all,

I have a Radeon 9600 256meg video card. I have a odd problem. When I go into planes with no VC but 2D bitmaps for the views, there is a gap all the way around the outside of the screen where I can see outside the plane. I have never seen this before. It is almost like the panel views are too small for the screen size. Here's the thing, when I just have the ATI driver installed without the ATI control panel this problem goes away. As soon as I install the control panel the gap returns. I have tried mutiple versions of the driver & control panel with the same result. Without the control panel I obviously can't set any of the video cards advance settings. Any ideas on this? TIA.

Open FS9. Use your monitor adjustments. Just expand the picture on the horizontal and the vertical till that little gap disappears. Usually, the adjustment needed is very small.

Tried that. The gap moves with the monitor adjustment. Thanks.
