Gamepad Driving Me Nuts

I can't take it anymore. My Logitech Rumblepad is at the point of needing constant recalibration and even when calibrated will lose its calibration settings requiring recalibration during play. This isn't such a problem with FS04 but with games like IL-2FB it's a problem.

I know this has been asked to death but can I have some recommendations tossed to me as to what the best stick would be for FS2004/IL-2FB? Emphasis should be on rock-solid calibration, unless it's impossible for any game controller to maintain its calibration settings because of all-around cheapness. I was leaning towards CH Products Fighterstick USB although it's a bit F-16ish for my tastes but as long as it doesn't have calibration issues that's ok. Thanks.

My Thrustmaster Top Gun Afterburner has been pretty good about staying calibrated.

I got it sometime around the release of FS2002, and I very rarely have to calibrate it.

In fact, I'm pretty sure I only have to do that once or twice a year at most.

I should add, this joystick has took many hours of fairly hard playing on driving games too...

I have a Saitek X45 and love it. Stays rock solid and from within FS I have programmed the the various buttons etc so that my hands hardly ever have to use the keyboard.
