Blurry picture on Sapphire 9800XT 256MB - please HELP!!!!!!

Hello...

Been upgrading(?) from a Sapphire 9700 Pro 128Mb to a Sapphire 9800XT 256 Mb card and noticed that the picture has gotten more blurrier and unsharp.

I now also got the wellknown shimmering and glowing textures in Microsoft Flight Simulator -2004 with my new card. Then I also noticed that some of the textures in Lock-On gets shimmering from the air; areas like villages, hamlets and citys. The horizontal line has also gotten blurry.

Tried different refresh rates at different resolutions, but the picture still gets blurry. The text and the pictures on the screen locks blocky when checking upclose, like the anti-aliasing not working or something like that.

Tried differnet graphdrivers and BIOS updates for my mobo (ASUS P4P800) but nothing helps. Also tried various BIOS-, screen res.-,antialiasing-, anisotropisk settings but the pic. still gets blurry.

The picture was crystal clear at the beginning when I got the card but then at the same time I was upgrading my mobos flashbios I ran in to trouble it seems, got this message "9800 Radeon... bad checksum BIOS...please insert floppy alt. cdrom disk". I restarted my comp. with no prob. and reflashed my mobobios if anything had happened but the picture was thereafter blurry....

Can something had happened to my videobios when I was upgrading my mobob. and causing this blurr????

So please someone, tell me what´s wrong before a return this card.
