More RAM?

OK, here’s the question. I’ve got 512 mb SDRAM on my system, would it make much more of a difference to the performance of my system if I added more to make 1024? In terms of performance I mainly mean frame rates. Also im thinking of getting VFR Scenery for the UK so will the 512 be more than enough considering auto-gen scenery will be turned off?

I have a 1.8Ghz P4 and also run into poor frame rates at times, the main thing that is holding you back is your processor. If you can get a faster processor then it would make a world of difference. I do not recommend investing more money into memory since your processor right now looks to be the deciding factor.
