Hi -

This is more an anooying problem than a big deal but I'm really curious about it. My system:

A7N8X w/333fsb
Athlon Xp2700+
1G PC2700 DDR ram
nForce Nvidia built in sound
GeForce4 TI4600/128 5303 driver
XPPro
FS2004


I have it set up to use a six speaker setup. Runs fine.

All default and MOST add on a/c and panels work as expected.

There are two panels that cause a strange problem. When I load the a/c, somehow the panel resets my speaker settings to use 2 speakers. This means that all sound goes thru the headset and none comes from the speakers. If I minimize FS and reset the speaker setting all is well until I exit FS - then the speakers are reset back to 2.

Both the panels use FSSOUND.DLL but I have several panels that use it with no problem.

The panels are the B-17E and the airpack ( airbus) files that can be found here in the library.

Other than this problem, the panels work fine.

Has anyone ever seen this before?
