2d panel problem wont go away :S ?

hey all am new here, just got a new comp so i can use fs2004! But i have that problem wher the 2 d panel just appears as a black box! and i have updated to latest drivers aswell but still i have the problem :( ?? Any1 help me? im on a pentium 4 2.8 gh and 512mb ram and graphics card is a = geforceFX go5600.

First gather the latest drivers for your MOBO's controller chips, Intel, VIA, SiS, AMD, ALi; graphics adapter; and DirectX9.0b. Once you have the above, install in this order:

Mobo controller chip drivers
DirectX9.0b (if not already installed)
graphics adapter drivers (make sure they are for your Windows version)

Note you will need to uninstall the present graphics adapter drivers first. Open control panel, add/remove programs, uninstall the NVidia drivers and follow the instructions for rebooting.

i have all the latest mobo stuff cos comp was just bought 2day! and i have latest directx and drivers aswell!!!! I dont understand it? y aint it working??!?? Help me plzzzzz!!!

The lastest NVidia drivers should resolve the issue, make sure you uninstall the old drivers first. A lot of people tend to overrun the old drivers and this has resulted in the condition not being fixed. This has nothing to do with your motherboard.

Can you specify the type of card that you have, driver version, OS, etc. It would make troubleshooting a bit easier.

I did remove all old drivers entirely b4 i installed new 1's!

I have a P4 2.8
512 DDR ram
geforce FX go5600
windows xp home
newest nividia drivers installed!
