radeon 9600 pro + black screen flash

Hi,
I play FS2004 on a P4 2.6GHz + ATI RADEON 9600 PRO with Omega drivers ver. 2.6.22
When FS is loading the screen sometimes flashes (a black screen appears and suddenly disappears).
It seems like FS switch among different screen resolutions?!?!?
I have the same problem when I try to drag GPS window (or other panels) on the main screen while playing and when I press the ALT button (men�) or right click the mouse.
How can I fix this annoying problem?

P.S. no other problems like slow frame rates or game crash experienced

is the 9600pro a good card? i am VERY close to getting one before christmas and fs2004. how fast agp does it have?

Whilst the Omega drivers are by people trying to iron out and improve on Catalyst problems, have you tried the latest Catalyst drivers? After all, they are designed by the vendor.

I will try with Catalyst 3.9 drivers this evening.

Except for the flickering problem it seems to be a good card (not excellent).
