SiS 315E Video Card Problems

with my SiS 315E video card it says that flight simulator 3D software is not compatible with the current drivers, i have tried installin all the newest drivers available with this video card, it was working fine until i reformated my hard drive and had to re-install everything, is there a driver update that i might be missing? or is there something i havent tried yet? please give give me any advice you might have because i really want this card up and working instead of using the 64MB one i'm stuck with right now.

I asssume this video card is built-in to the motherboard. I looked up the specs and does not seem to be much of a card for today's standards. If what I read is correct, the card supports DirectX 7.0 and FS needs DirectX 9.0 or greater to run.

This might be the reason for getting the error message during startup. I recommend you purchase a new video card and disable the onboard card in order to resolve your issues. The SiS315 was made to compete against a Geforce MX200, according to the article that I read.

Again, I am not familiar with the product but SiS is not known to be a power house when it comes to video cards. Hope this helps.

you must be talking about the wrong video card, this one is not integrated, its an AGP 128MB video card and has Direct X 9.0 support as far as i can tell, i ran DXDIAG and it worked out fine. All i can think of is that there's an driver update out there that i am missing.
