    in short.....even MS had blurry textures. FS9 will always crete blurries if you fly anything greater than a Cessna.

    But THAT is not normal, with a system like that, you textures should be popping in for like 100 nm out...sheeesh. Hmmmmm, how do other games perform?

    hmm don't have any other games...but again, I'm getting excellent fps on FS2004...Is there anything in the .CFG file anything to change? Sometimes the blurries are bad, sometimes not...mipmapping setting in FS is on 8..

    Try adjusting your AA and AF rates in the sim.
    Also, in the sim. adjust or do not use the options for the AA and AF rates. Adjust them in the CATALYST software suite. In other words let the card run the AA and AF rates not the sim.
    I think that I have read in other posts that the card has the most control anyway not the sim.
    Let me know how it works- been think about doing the experiment on mine just have not got around to it.

    I have the AA & AF settings set in the Catalyst software...not from FS2004. Direct3D is set on custom> 6x AA, 16xAF...same with open GL.
    Is it even possible to adjust AF settings in FS?

    I am not at my sim. computer but I guess I was think about the filter sittings- tri- bi etc.

    Hi to all..new in the forum. Have a problem with blurry textures in FS9 even when the fps are in the upper 40s...(pic included) I got all my settings maxed out (except visibility & cloud draw distance)
