IFLY Boeing 747-400 Panel

Hi! The last few weeks I've studied the excellent manual but am stumped with this simple problem:

Near bottom on page 8 is: "STATUS display switch" and I cannot find this switch to "push" it!

I believe that is also the reason why all of the Diplay Panels (like Primary Flight Diplay, Navigation Display, CDU, etc) are showing as black screens.

Service Pack 2 is installed.

status display switch is in the copilot's panel. I do not know why your screen is black.

Hi!, I hate to bother you again with this but I've found a "switch" just under the glare shield (about in the middle) with "STA" above it, but it's not "clickable", nothing happens. The manual says: "Verify status display appears".

More frustrating is of course that none of the displays are "live".

Is this Ifly plane maybe not as good as it appears to me?

Install the lastest FSUIPC.dll, I think it's 3.75

Uninstall the IFly 747 completely. Then, install the base package, and then download and install service pack 3 (Looks for it here or Avsim.

Then go to the FMC and go to options. Select a next startup condition from there to help you out.

Hi! When I did all that, a message appeared on the flight diplay Panel: "You need to install FSUIPC4 4.12 or higher.
I downloaded FSUIPC4 but when I tried to install it the message was that I need FSX, my system is running with FS9.

Is there away around this "catch 22" delemma?

Thanks for all your sugestions. The FSUIPC gave me a hint. I reinstalled a slightly older version and "bingo" that solved my problem.

Suddenly the Ifly 747-700 is very much back in my life!
