US Military Bases

Just a quick question: Are there any sites that specialize in add-on scenery for US military bases,ie, USAF, NAVY or Marines. If not, could anyone please provide the names of any scenery developers who create such add-ons. I'm trying to obtain as many as possible or at least AFCADS to add parking to the default bases on FS9.

World of AI has several military packages available for download. I have located many Military AFCADs just by searching for them on this forum. Of course the most fun and most satisfying is learning to use AFCAD and Ttools and put your own packages together. As an ex Jarhead I find a lot of Airforce and Navy stuff out there, and very little for the Corps. There are quite enough of the Marines aircraft tho to populate Marine Corps Airstations in the US and Hawaii.

How about trying to make your own? Using goggle earth, and having little to no experience using the afcad editor, it can become very fulfilling. I have made many N.A.S. through out the United States. I even have re-activated a few that were shut down. Seems there is never enough Navy buzzing around.

Just takes a little patience. And with any problems or questions that may arise, I'm sure there would be enough help here at the forum to assist you.
Anyway, just a suggestion.

Hubfink...If you have one for Brunswick Naval Air Station in Maine I would sure appreciate it. I cannot get AI traffic to fly in and out of BNAS properly and never could using FS9.

As long as we're on the subject of Military Bases, I cant get Mike Stones C5 to park at McDill in Tampa. I have the addon AFCAD some one made up and the parking list shows plenty of ramp and military parking spots. Methinks this has something to do with parking radius's, Does the C5 need something larger than AFCAD supplies, or am I overthinking the problem?

Bill...exactly what is happening? Does the plane land and then disappear? Does it taxi down the taxi way and then disappear? Have you changed one of the parking spaces radius to a much larger number? Actually your lucky to even get it to land. When I try to send it from KMIA it wont even land at McDill, it circles it once and then goes off into the horizon.

Oh! She lands alright and runs out of speed down the runway. Then disappears. This is usually a sympton of inadequate parking Facilities. But as I said, the Afcad has plenty of all types of Parking. What parking radius and type of parking does the C5 reqire?
