Anyone know how to add a "boom" (not "whoom") sound effect when afterburners automatically kick in?
Thanks,

Any aircraft with afterburner ...F-4, F-14, F-15, F-16, etc. I can add AB effects (lighting), just wanted a little more noise when they initially come on. Don't know much about XML type gauges (assume they are needed), but it appears this may be more of a chore than I thought.
Thanks for your reply.
I downloaded a mig 29 once and it came with a beautiful afterburner effect and sound inside and out. Also when the aircraft passes the sound barrier it gives off a very loud sonic boom. But if you want fighter with that effect, I think the aircraft has to come with it.
you would not hear a BOOM from the plane.....just a low end rumble....
There is a gauge by Rob Barendregt that will add a sonic boom (and vapour shockwave) to a jet. I'm not sure what it's called. It may have been included in the carrier gauge package by Rob and Doug Dawson.
