renamed atc airline

i made my own flightplan for a 747 in a boeing house livery, so i complied it. I changed the atc airline on the aircraft.cfg file. but then, when i sat near the 747 in the airport, they were supposed to say "Mark Airlines 850 ready to taxi with Zulu, ifr", but they ended up saying "850 heavy ready to taxi, IFR" Will you help me? Thanks.

You are going to require Editvoicepak if you don't have it. It should be available in the library. Default FS9 comes with only a handful of available callsigns so this maybe your problem.

With editvoicepak you can create your callsigns and add them to the game,like 'Mark Airlines'. It takes some practice to get them sounding good but when its done it makes the default ATC much more realistic (as far as airlines go).

Not really. The list of airlines that are recognized by default is a very long list. Don't go by the airlines file in the aircraft folder, it means nothing. ATC will call most airlines. The ones you need to add are either very new ones (newer than 2003) or less common ones (like "Mark Airlines", lol.)
One other note, make sure the entry in the cfg is exactly as FS requires. For example Alaska Airlines should read:

atc_airline=ALASKA

NOT:
atc_airline=ALASKA AIRLINES
