    Default Jerky slew function

I had a system problem the other day and although it was not software related when the system was again running I found my SLEW mode is very jerky to use and it stops as soon as the 8 key is released. It should continue on smoothly until I again press Y.

As it is, it's almost unusable. Any ideas what's gone wrong ? Or better still how to fix it.....

    Thnx

    Hi,
For the sake of others who might have the same problem one day, how did you "solve" the problem, or what were you doing wrong?

I have old analog pedals so require analog port with joystick to plug them in. I then go to FS assignments and remove all the axis enables except the pedals.

I also have an old digital wingman stick and it also requires analog game port so I use 2 sound cards to ge the ports. Used cards are available from repair depots for about 5 bucks each.

In this case after replugging all the cards back onto the motherboard to get the system going after a power failure it developed some interaction between the ports.

On control panel\game controllers I removed the contoller with the pedals and then added it back in and then used FS to turn off the axis again. Low and Behold back to fully functional stuff again.

    Ahhh, ok cool.
    Thanks Dave,
Seems like a lot of messing around to connect the controls. Perhaps one day you will go for the USB setup, and would be a lot simpler to set up. Thanks though, and happy flights!
