Thread: Lost planes in select aircraft option

Default Lost planes in select aircraft option

I have seen a similar post but can't find it.

After installing a Nvida 7900 GS card and playing with the display settings and finding that the planes look out of proportion, I also found that I also lost the plane display in the select plane section.

Some time ago I saw another posting about this same problem, but I cannot find the post.

Can someone give me the best setting for this card, and what I need to do to recover the display in the select plane. The plane info displays ok but the box that should display the rotating plane is now blank.

BTW I upgraded from an ATI X300 card and the display setting was 1280x768x32 and the body length of the planes looked pretty good. And the display filled the complete screen in full screen mode.
    Where did I go wrong?

    Thank you

Somehow I got my planes to display again. Don't know how I lost the display and don't know I got it back.

I did change the resolution settings various ways. Then I noticed they showed up again.

The settings with the GEForce 7900 GS card changes the looks of the planes from the way the ATI X300 card displayed them. 1280x768 makes the planes look stubby but I can get the full screem. If I change the resolution to make the planes look more realistically in proportion, I cannot get the complete screen display. I have a black zone around the displayed area.

So I was looking for some input as to the best resolution to set the Nvidia GeForce 7900 GS card to get the best look.

Well it seems that setting the antialias setting for the video card too high keeps the planes from displaying. I lowered it from 8x to 4x and they display ok.

Little things that drive you crazy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
