    Default Installing aircraft???

    Hi everyone...

I am very new to downloading and installing aircraft but I seem to be getting by at the moment after reading the file on how to install aircraft in FS2004.

One thing that is puzzling me at the moment is...

If I download an aircraft that isn't in the default aircraft collection of FS2004, do I need to download Textures, Sound and Panel even if they are seperate downloads for a specific aircraft, for example an Airbus 320

I don't want to make a mess of things on my hard drive.

I would be most greatful if you could help...

If I don't make sence please let me know!!!

    Thanks again.

When you download an aircraft from the library, it will come with at least one texture. So you should be fine.

It should also have a custom panel (or it will use the one from a default plane). A big number of planes also come with sounds and, in case there is none, they will also use default sounds.

Of course, you can also download separate sounds and panels, but it is not mandatory.

    Hope this helps!

    Thanks for replying.

The way i understand it is, if I download a plane without panel or sound then I can still fly the plane with a default panel and sound effects that are preasent in FS2004.

If I then download and install seperate sound and panel files for the model of aircraft then they will replace the default panel and sound.

    Thanks.

And If comes with a seperate folder for gauges,I put the gauges in the Panel folder.Open the Gauge folder swipe all the gauges (copy)and put them in the Panel Folder,or you can just put them in the FS9 gauge folder.
