System "Not Responding"

I recently purchased a new computer, 3.0 ghz processor, 800 mghz FSB, 2 Gigs of RAM, GE Force 6200 Turbo video card (driver is lastest version). I install FS2004 about 2 weeks ago and all worked fine. The only change in FS2004 was when I bought Capt Sim F-104. Now after about 30 seconds into flight, system locks up. I have downloaded and installed the FS2004 update, no change, system still locks up.

Any input to help would sure be appreciated.

What do you mean by : "system locks up"?

If you mean the screen goes black and nothing happens when you say the "system locks up" then I get that as well.

Does the lock up only happen with this aircraft, or with any aircraft? It may be due to the complexity of the aircraft stressing the graphics. Have you tried some tests like reducing your sliders?
It will take some detective work to find the problem.
