    Default PAI is just excellent!

I recently and finally upgraded from an old and tired dino (600mhz) system to something alot better. Not the best, but many times better. Anyhow, for once I am able to install and fly with some AI. For this I downloaded the PAI installer and some of my favorite airline packages plus the AFCAD files. What can I say? Simply excellent! Those guys at PAI really deserve a big THANK YOU! for providing such a monster of a project to us for free.

Yes, PAI definitely tops my list of AI aircraft providers, absolutely excellent. :)

I second that. I have been a happy "customer" for almost a year now. I have all of their packages installed and have not had any problems. Even with all that traffic out and about my frame rates are still good.

I third that. I have...over a lot of PAI aircraft. In fact, my Air Kevin AI is built from PAI aircraft.

PAI is awesome.. I have almost every airline and almost all of the military. Its great flying into Frankfurt seeing everything from a Lufthansa Regional Dash 8 to an Air India 747 to a USAF C-17..

I've taken a look at some payware.. they might have more airlines and even some charters that I've been looking for.. but their aircraft and textures don't seem to have the same quality as PAI.

Exactly. It's cool to reach your destination and not knowing exactly what type of airline traffic you might see or hear over the radio. It's also interesting to see that certain airlines dominate the airport's terminals, as in real life. For example, at Seatac, you will mostly see Alaska Airline machines. I haven't flown into St. Louis Lambert yet, but when I do, I expect to see a whole fleet of American Airlines there! :)

This picture shows how many airlines I've downloaded from PAI... this doesn't do justice...

Behind this pic, theres about 50 Lufthansas... to the right across the runways theres five USAF C-17s at the Rhein-Main tarmac and theres also an El Al and a Air Berlin along with a DHL plane parked at CargoCity South.

Sometimes I think the flightplans are a little over done... EDDF gets really crowded with Lufthansa planes around noon.. they start crowding gates where in real life they'd never park.

I'm waiting for a FedEx package.. I'm sure thats in the works.. right now they've got DHL and UPS crowding the cargo areas... I'm just waiting to see FedEx's taking up all those empty parking areas at Memphis.

Oh by the way.. if you want to see real American Airlines traffic.. go to KDFW.. its a real pain trying to land there in the middle of the day. I GUARANTEE you that you will find at least 50% of AAL's T-tail fleet.

I don't do much flying into KDFW but I'll check it out just to see some American Airlines traffic. I hear DFW is like their main hub. In my real life travel, I have noticed AA has alot of real estate at Lambert. I'm dealing with a bottle neck right now that goes something like this.....I don't have any internet at home, so I'm limited to downloading at the job, where all I have is a 16mb SD card and a USB card reader. So basically I've been taking home an airline or two for the past week.....lol I'm getting there.

At KCI, a LOT, and I mean, a LOT (over 200) are Air Kevins. I've landed in DFW to find a LOT of Americans, and I found it impossible to land a UAL 777 in Boston.

Well thats because AA took over TWA.. and TWA pretty much owned St. Louis.
