    In the aircraft config file i don't know which set of numbers to use or even look at to try and add smoke tothe wingtips the way it should look, i do no how to add smoke but it is either coming out of the back of the plane or its not even close to the plane which looks crazy. If you can help thanks

    Hi;

    (smoke system)
    smoke.0=0.00, -0.7, 12.3, fx_smoke_w
    smoke.1=0.00, -0.7, -12.3, fx_smoke_r

    The first number is up and down, "-" = down
    The second number is front to back, "-" = back
    The third number is left and right, "-" = left

    For wing tip smoke, find the wing span, on the Extra it is 24.6',
    take half for each side, making the left side -12.3'!!

    You may have to do a little touchup to get it just right!!

    It looks like this;

    Thanks for the helpful info kimber, if i can't figure it out now then i think i will just leave it alone. I just downloaded the spartan executive, and i thought it would look good with some smoke for airshow flying. Thanks again.

    I think i got it figured out kimber, i have already downloaded all the smoke files i can find, i just didn't know how to set it up, so that it would look right. I will still have to learn some but i think that i will eventually get better at it.
