    Default Loading speed

Within the past week or so FS 2004 has taken up to 6/7 minutes to load.
As fasr as I can tell, I've not added anything that would seem to cause this. Does anyone have any idea or suggestionas to what ma be the problem? Cfg, Scenery etc.?

Typically, this is likely to be photographic scenery. IAN

I agree. High res scenery and meche will add some to the loading time when your area is decided. Sometimes you have to wait for good things I guess. Keeping your hard drive defragmented often helps.

I know that with the UK-VFR photoscenery, if "extended textures" was enabled my load time went from around 90s to 7-8 minutes.

Also, if you have lots and lots of scenery and aircraft the load times do slowly increase as you add more stuff !
