    Default Flight Deck 3-ILS Problem

When flying carrier landings my vertical ILS indicator never works, usually far off to the left side, but my horizontal works perfect. Anyone else having similar problem?

Hey..I was at work earlier when I responded to this...On the way home I was thinkin' maybe there was a time when I remember something like this...

Are you getting this on every FDIII carrier?? or just one of them...Have you added any other Carriers?? Are they OK??

I don't really use the FDIII Program...I just bought it for the copy of Richard Hogan's ArrestorCables..and I like the Carriers themselves...That is all I use...

I remember getting the feeling that the FDIII software put like an "invisible box" around the carrier...It could have just been my imagination...But it really seemed to me that once you got within a couple of miles of the ship...Things "acted" differently with my Aircraft...I know it sounds wierd..but I spend Allot of time with Aircraft Carriers...I was convinced "something" was different...

So I quickly switched to my "Custom" Carrier Scenery and ArrestorCables only install process...My problems vanished...Humm..

I'm just finishing-up some work on my computers...In which I deleted FS...This weekend will be a Restore FS weekend!!..I'll try and see if I can re-produce what your expierencing...I'm not gonna install FDIII though...So I may not be able too...I'm gonna do my "custom" version...So I'll have the boats...I'll be sure to check out the ILS System on all of them and write back if I see your problem too...

    Have Fun!!

Sorry it took awhile....I've only had a couple of months to play around with it. But i like it so far

what do you mean by act differently " within a couple of miles of the ship...Things "acted" differently with my Aircraft..." It seems to me like its a lot harder to land than on a convetional runway, As it should be. Usually fly with all settings to max realism if that helps.I usually use the Gps green band to center up, is this considered center, or were you should be? Maybe i'm not even on course! It seemes to work fine flying away from the ship Off the catapault.. wait a sec i started it off from "vikink landing and everything seems fine. i have dual monitors and i save my setup so i don't have to resize everything, etc. I saved under Viking Taxi_Bay of biscay. Maybe either problem with the viking or that particular carrier. I'll try some other aircraft, see what happens. Sorry for the trouble, but i appreciate the help.

Can u contact the carrier on radio?
