Thread: GE Screen shots here

    Default GE Screen shots here

Since the file size here doesnt allow good resolution on screen shots, I posted a bunch on my site. If anyone wants to see what GE looks like in various locations, there are around 60 up now.

Okay, tell this ignorant dummy, just Why would I lose my FScene in favour of GE, notwithstanding I do realise that Flight1 are excellent at whatever they do.

Im not a salesman, there is just a lot of 'buzz' about it right now in the forums, and some were asking for some screen shots, all a matter of personal preference :-)

That's what I mean, everybody is raving about it, and I have FScene through the JustFlight package, which I have to say in all but winter looks pretty amazing, but some shots I've seen of GE look really out of this world too. But it seems you would have to use default textures and I happen to like the way Fscene did the mountains.

    Hi John!
To answer your question, having both, I prefer GE over FSScene cause
    1) more 3D feeling, textures 'pop out' more
    2) rough rocky terrain textures are simply great
    3) towns and cities are this time interesting to watch from high above, to put it that way.
And last, but certainly not least, with the newest update, the size of the autogen buildings is reduced. I thing now the proportions are much more appropriate. I also don't like carachteristic huuuge FS trees (apart from Yellowstone :) ) , so I'm using Finntrees04.zip and can be found at http://www.fsnordic.net/... and there's also another alternative: http://www.i-custo.com/oscar/index.php

    So...alltogether - great!

To be completely honest and fair to FSScene, I have bought it together with MyWorld landclass and was never sure to what should I attribute the credit. Maybe that's why the FSScene impact was so... subtle...?
