TCAS install

I have several aircraft that I have downloaded from www.premaircraft.com, and they all contain TCAS. I believe that from installing the aircraft, all files are in their appropriate spots. I just recently downloaded and installed FSUIPC but have not registered it yet. I am running into a couple of problems with TCAS. First, I can only get the knob on the control panel to go to the test spot. I can hear an alert saying "TCAS system test OK," but I have also heard it say "TCAS system test fail" even after the installation of FSUIPC. The TCAS panels are already installed in each of the aircraft obtained from premaircraft.com. The two main files for TCAS (TCAS2v7.dll and TCAS2v7.ini) are in the main FS9 folder. Based on that, I don't know why the TCAS test occasionally fails.

The second problem that I am running into is that the documentation contained for the TCAS panel for the aircraft doesn't really have much information to go on for installing in FS9.

Can anyone help me out?

At a guess I would suggest that many gauges are designed to be aircraft specific and therefore not transferable to any others.

A suggestion which may help a lot of people who want TCAS but don't have much experience of panel work adding gauges etc:

You can either search for TCAS II by Danny Ho from Canada or go to the download/information site at http://www.spirellis.com/tcas

This is an excellent stand-alone package which is fully defineable and can show you all you need to know and includes full TCAS II facilities for conflict resolution etc.

I think I got the TCAS to work. I didn't realize just how sensitive it was to clicking in the right spot and the sensitivity of left / right clicking. I will also check out the TCAS II page.
