Thread: Ground Control after landing

  1. Default Ground Control after landing

When I land at CMH or RSW, ground control directs me to a gate that doesn't have a jetway.Type of aircraft doesn't make a difference. At CMH it is stand 66 and at RSW it is stand 9. So far these are the only 2 airports with this problem. Is there any way to change this?

I have downloaded and installed several airports from the scenery files in Flightsim. and all ground control guide me to a jetway gate except these 2.

What is the name of the file in the library with these jetways?

The CMH jetways were in a jetway package with jetways for several airports. The jetways for RSW were in new scenery created by Rob Diebold. The scenery file name is KRSWNEW.zip. I downloaded and installed new scenery a couple of days ago for Indianapolis and the ground controller guides you to a jetway gate. I don't know which file controls the atc ground instructions.

Either you will need to contact the developer of the scenery/jetway package and have him change his AFCAD file (parking sequence) or download AFCAD and read how fs9 assigns parking spots and make the change yourself to the afcad file.

I have AFCAD but don't have a good handle on using it to modify airports . I use it generally to find ILS frequencies for airports I want to fly in to. I'll experiment with it and see what happens. Thanks for the response

You might also want to assign an airline code to your particular aircraft and assign the same to the location you want to place it in Afcad.
